Licensing Direct™ receives indication of initial interest in football training accessory from Schutt Sports; non-disclosure agreement sent for signature…
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Licensing Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, here with an update regarding initial interest being shown in one of the inventions from our roster. Earlier Thursday, Licensing Direct™ received an e-mail from the inventor of a football training accessory from our roster which included a forward of a recent correspondence exchange between himself and a representative of Illinois-based Schutt Sports regarding his product idea. In his writings to the inventor, the manufacturer indicated an interest in learning as much as possible about the concept.
Accordingly, the Licensing Direct™ representative that will manage this situation going forward prepared and sent an explanatory e-mail to the Schutt Sports representative, along with a non-disclosure agreement for his signature. It was emphasized that if and when the signed guarantee of confidentiality is returned, the company will be granted access to all of the detailed information available for the invention.
