Greetings, Juan C. Blanco, Licensing Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an Innovation Direct™-related update. Earlier Thursday, Licensing Direct™ received a reply from Illinois-based Trillium Worldwide, Inc. to an e-mail they had received from us regarding the benefits of the Innovation Direct™ program. Trillium had been included in a group of AAPEX Show 2009 exhibitors that had received the correspondence on December 15th.
As per the communication received and their official company website, Trillium has been in business for over 35 years and is interested in reviewing a wide variety of product ideas. The representative replying to our e-mail did confirm that they are completely amenable to signing non-disclosure agreements before reviewing detailed design information on any inventions received.
We are looking forward to what we hope will be a mutually beneficial relationship with the manufacturer and will certainly update you when their first package of invention information is put together early in 2010. Stay tuned to the Licensing Direct™ Blog for the latest!
Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Licensing Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our latest update. Earlier Tuesday, the Licensing Direct™ representative that will manage the Innovation Direct™ account of AAPEX Show 2009 exhibitor Astro Pneumatic Tool Company prepared and sent his contact at the firm preliminary, non-confidential information on 5 inventions from our roster to serve as their initial package within the program.
The manufacturer had been one of the companies that our trade show representative had personally visited the booth of during the AAPEX Show in November. As per the company representative’s stated preferences, today’s package of concepts consisted of items in the hand and air tool category.
We are hopeful of receiving prompt and positive feedback from Astro and will certainly provide you with the details of any developments, here on the Licensing Direct™ Blog. Check in with us frequently! 

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Licensing Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, here with an update on a situation we’d last reported about in a December 3rd posting (http://licensingdirect.com/blog/?p=1321). Earlier Tuesday, the Licensing Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct™ account of ERA D2C exhibitor Tristar Products, Inc. requested a follow-up on their feedback on the 10 inventions from the initial package they’d been sent.
Later Tuesday afternoon, the Tristar representative responded and requested that we wait on his impressions until early January, as he would be out of the office after tomorrow until that point in time. We are therefore looking forward to hearing back from Tristar in early 2010 and will certainly provide you the details, here on the Licensing Direct™ Blog.

Earlier Tuesday, Licensing Direct™ representatives reached out to 15 additional AAPEX Show 2009 exhibitors regarding our dynamic new product subscription service for manufacturers, Innovation Direct™. Today’s effort follows multiple other similar e-mail campaigns over the last several weeks designed to attract as many new companies as possible into the program.

As per the company’s stated preferences and existing product lines, the concepts sent ranged across various categories within the tool area. We are looking forward to hearing back from this Illinois-based company in short order with positive feedback, but only time will tell. Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Licensing Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a quick update on a situation we’d last reported about in a November 6th posting (http://licensingdirect.com/blog/?p=1290). Earlier Tuesday, the Licensing Direct™ representative that has managed the advanced level of interest from Florida-based Designer Factory Showroom, Inc. in a bedding accessory from our roster sent a follow-up e-mail to his contact at the firm regarding the next date for a conference call regarding the invention.
As we’d explained in the aforementioned posting, the company had been resent the licensing proposal for the invention after the last conversation, at their request. They had also indicated they would be in touch at some point before the end-of-year holidays to conduct another call and discuss the potential agreement. With it being mid-December and no contact having been received, our colleague it would be a prudent time to attempt to obtain an update.

Central Tools, headquartered in Rhode Island, had been of the companies that responded to one of our recent Innovation Direct™ e-mail campaigns with participants of the November trade show.
As per the company’s stated preferences, today’s package consisted of automotive repair tools and accessories. We are hopeful of receiving prompt and positive feedback to the information sent and will certainly keep you abreast of all developments, here on the Licensing Direct™ Blog. Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Licensing Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, back in once more with a quick update on a situation we had most recently reported on in a December 10th posting (http://licensingdirect.com/blog/?p=1310). Earlier Monday, the Licensing Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct™ account of National Hardware Show 2009 exhibitor Kellogg Garden Products received a reply via e-mail to a request for a follow-up that he had made of his contact at the firm regarding their feedback on 9 inventions that had been sent to them several weeks ago.
As per the response received late Monday, Kellogg will not go any further with any of the concepts in the group. Accordingly, Licensing Direct™ will continue its quest for licensing success on behalf of this group of product ideas with companies that would potentially be a good match for them.
