Licensing Direct™ sends industry partner lawn and garden accessory and household item for re-examination; potential interest indicated…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Licensing Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking back in with a quick update. Earlier Tuesday, Licensing Direct™ sent our often-mentioned West Coast-based industry partner information on a lawn and garden accessory and a household item that he’d considered previously, but that we felt warranted a second look on his part.

The decision to re-send the information was prompted in part by a recent request that our industry partner had received for products that could be folded or collapsed when not in use. With these inventions having those characteristics, the Licensing Direct™ representative that manages our partner’s Innovation Direct™ account felt it would be prudent to have him refresh his memory with regards to the aforementioned two concepts.

We’re pleased to report that later in the day Tuesday, our industry partner replied and informed us that one of the companies he deals with is indeed intrigued by the potential of the lawn and garden product and would like to do further research on it over the next several weeks. The company may also be very interested in looking at other Licensing Direct™ inventor product ideas through our industry partner in the future.

We are enthused by what could be the initiation of a strong interest and will keep you posted on any developments, here on the Licensing Direct™ Blog. Check in often!

Licensing Direct™ sends super-sized Innovation Direct™ package to industry partner; 5 inventions subject of further interest…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Licensing Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with our latest Innovation Direct™-related update. Earlier Tuesday, the Licensing Direct™ representative managing the Innovation Direct™ account of our often mentioned West Coast-based industry partner sent preliminary, non-confidential information on 97 inventions from the Licensing Direct™ roster to him in a wide cross-section of categories. The girth of the batch of invention information was due to an effort to provide our industry partner, who has multiple one-on-one relationships with several prominent consumer products companies in particular, a look at as many new concepts as possible at one time.

As has been the norm with our industry partner, he provided extremely prompt feedback regarding which items from the group warranted further attention from him. In all, he wittled down his interest to 5 product ideas, and since a permanent non-disclosure agreement is already on file, the aforementioned Licensing Direct™ representative was able to send him access to the detailed design information on each one immediately.

We are looking forward to the next step in the process, which will be his impressions on the detailed materials. As soon as we have further feedback, which we strongly expect to be sometime tomorrow, we will bring it to you here on the Licensing Direct™ Blog. Check in often!
